a note on featured images
In the curation of our earliest issue, we used artificial intelligence to generate featured images for our online pieces. Since then, we have engaged in ongoing ethical reflection, both personal and academic, regarding the role of AI in artistic and literary spaces.
As of 5 APR 2025, we have chosen to not use AI-generated artwork in the visual curation of Kinpaurak for ISSUE 2.
We believe in honoring the human touch, the imperfections of process, and the spirit behind every creative act. Previously generated images will remain archived on our site as part of our evolving history. But going forward, our sky is handmade.
